will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production of event decor and structures--from design interpretation to fabrication, assembly, quality control, and logistics coordination. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines in a creative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Planning & Management
Plan, schedule, and manage production activities for wedding decor and fabrication units.
Interpret design briefs from the creative team and convert them into actionable production plans.
Allocate resources, materials, and manpower efficiently for each event project.
Ensure on-time production and delivery according to event timelines.
2. Team & Workflow Management
Supervise carpenters, fabricators, painters, electricians, and other workshop staff.
Conduct daily production meetings to track progress and resolve bottlenecks.
Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams for smooth dispatch and setup.
3. Quality & Process Control
Implement quality control measures to ensure superior finish and safety standards.
Inspect work at various stages of production to maintain consistency and accuracy.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the workshop area.
4. Cost & Inventory Management
Monitor material consumption, wastage, and procurement needs.
Optimize production costs while maintaining quality.
Coordinate with vendors and procurement for raw materials and outsourcing when needed.
5. Coordination & Communication
Liaise with the design and execution teams to ensure alignment between concept and output.
Provide technical inputs during the design development phase.
Communicate timelines, risks, and updates to management regularly.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Production, Industrial Design, Event Production, or related field.
5+ years of experience in production or fabrication management--preferably in event, exhibition, or wedding decor industry.
Strong understanding of materials (wood, metal, fabric, acrylic, etc.) and production techniques.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into fabrication instructions.
Hands-on experience with workshop operations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Proficiency in MS Excel / Project Management tools.
