Job Duties Create process plan for NPI and CPI models with minimum input. Virtual validation, audit, tooling, ergonomics & etc. Creation of Build Books (Visual Aids). Creation of a SWES creation, Torque analysis, Time study, Video Analysis, Line balancing with hands on experience with products and facility standards. Create Manufacturing Bill of Materials for new products and suggest process changes based on product configuration. Understand the Plant Layout & Assembly Process Sequence. Conduct torque audits using engineering specs & drawings. Contribute process improvements and execution Adhere to CAT quality system. Technical Competencies Assembly Process Planning Best Practices -Hands on Knowledge on NPI & CPI Expert knowledge in VME, MBOM, Build Books & SWES Knowledge on MES, PLM, PRWB & CAT engineering data systems Awareness of NPI, NTI and CPI processes Product Knowledge - Engine / Powertrain / Aftertreatment Background/Experience Dip.Eng : 10-12 BE: 6-8 Must have a good mechanical aptitude with ability to develop product concepts.
