Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing & Finance Process Design
Analyze and map
manufacturing business processes
: BOMs, routings, production orders, WIP, and variance analysis.
Design and configure
manufacturing costing models
(standard, FIFO, weighted average).
Define
product costing, overheads, and absorption logic
.
Support
make-to-order, make-to-stock, and engineer-to-order
scenarios.
Dynamics 365 Finance Configuration
Configure and integrate the following modules:
General Ledger
Cost Accounting
Inventory Accounting
Fixed Assets (production equipment capitalization & depreciation)
Budget Control
Set up
production postings
, WIP accounting, and period close activities.
Ensure accurate
inventory valuation
and financial reconciliation.
Integration & Collaboration
Work closely with
Supply Chain / Manufacturing modules
for seamless data flow.
Coordinate with technical teams on extensions, reports, and integrations.
Support data migration for BOMs, routings, costs, and open production orders.
Testing, Go-Live & Support
Prepare functional design documents (FDDs).
Lead or support
UAT, cutover, and go-live
activities.
Provide post-go-live
hypercare and production support
.
Train end users and prepare SOPs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
4-8 years of experience in
Dynamics 365 Finance or AX (2012/2009)
.
Strong understanding of
manufacturing finance & cost accounting
.
Hands-on experience with:
Production cost postings
WIP & variance accounting
Inventory valuation
Experience working with manufacturing clients (process or discrete).
Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
End-to-end D365 Finance implementation experience in manufacturing.
Knowledge of
standard costing rollups and revaluations
.
Experience with
multi-plant and multi-legal entity
setups.
Microsoft D365 Finance certification (MB-310 or equivalent).
