Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced
Manufacturing Chemist - Softgel Formulation
to join our production team. The candidate should have sound technical knowledge of softgel formulation, machine operation, and overall manufacturing activities along with the ability to manage manpower effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day production activities in the Softgel manufacturing department.
Execution and monitoring of Softgel formulation processes as per BMR and SOPs.
Operation, cleaning, and maintenance of Softgel manufacturing machines.
Ensure production targets are achieved within defined timelines.
Online documentation of batch manufacturing records and logbooks.
Monitoring critical process parameters during encapsulation, drying, and sorting.
Implementation of GMP and safety guidelines on the shop floor.
Coordination with QA, QC, and maintenance departments.
Manpower planning, supervision, and handling of production staff.
Troubleshooting of process and machine-related issues.
Ensure proper line clearance before starting new batches.
Training and guiding junior operators and helpers.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Must have strong knowledge of
Softgel formulation processes
.
Practical experience in
Softgel Encapsulation Machines
operation.
Good understanding of GMP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical documentation.
Knowledge of IPQA procedures and quality compliance.
Ability to manage workforce and shift activities efficiently.
Basic knowledge of equipment qualification and validation activities.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Problem-solving attitude and decision-making ability.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in Softgel formulation manufacturing
Must have hands-on experience in machine operation and production handling.
Candidates from pharmaceutical manufacturing background preferred.
Working Conditions
Job involves working in shifts.
Shop-floor based role requiring coordination across departments.
Salary
