Position Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in functional, manual, and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the banking domain and hands-on experience with the Robot Framework. This role demands excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to test case design and execution.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for functional and automation testing. Perform manual testing to validate application functionality and user experience. Implement and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution. Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in testing.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing. Strong proficiency in functional and manual testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for automation. Solid understanding of the banking domain and related applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to design effective and efficient test cases. Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

Manual Testing - Proven experience in manual test execution and defect reporting. Automation Testing - Hands-on experience with automation tools, especially Robot Framework. Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration and reporting.


Good-to-Have Skills:

ISTQB or Equivalent Certification - Formal testing certification. CI/CD Integration - Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Version Control Systems - Experience with tools like Git. Agile/Scrum Methodologies - Exposure to Agile development environments. Test Management Tools - Knowledge of tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Scripting Knowledge - Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python) to enhance automation capabilities.
