Currently we are hiring as Manual Testing Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Take complete ownership and accountability of QA deliverables for assigned modules or projects. Review and analyse system specifications, business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Develop, document and execute detailed test cases and test scripts for various testing phases. Perform a wide range of testing activities including functional, integration, regression, UI, usability, smoke and user acceptance testing. Identify, document and track defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to reproduce, troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. Ensure complete testing coverage through the use of requirement traceability matrices (RTM). Participate actively in test estimation, test planning, risk assessment and test reporting activities. Verify defect fixes, perform re-testing and maintain robust regression suites. Maintain and manage test environments, test data and comprehensive QA documentation. Work proactively to ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards and process compliance. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies. Mentor and support junior QA team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. 4 to 8 years of proven experience in manual software testing across web and mobile applications. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle and testing methodologies. Expertise in test case design, test data preparation, and test execution. Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g.JIRA). Solid understanding of database testing with ability to write and execute SQL queries. Hands-on experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing. Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
