Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Manual Tester

who brings hands-on experience with

API testing using Postman

and familiarity with

Jenkins

for automation and CI/CD workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing practices and will play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications across various platforms and devices. Design, document, and execute clear and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios. Perform end-to-end

API testing using Postman

, including validation of request/response, data integrity, status codes, and headers. Work closely with developers, DevOps, and QA leads to triage issues and ensure timely resolution. Use

Jenkins

to trigger test jobs, monitor automation pipelines, and integrate testing in CI/CD workflows. Report and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar, and follow up through resolution. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and requirement reviews.

Required Skills:

2+ years of experience in

manual testing

of software applications. Strong experience in

API testing using Postman

(including scripting with tests, managing environments, and using collections). Familiarity with

Jenkins

for CI/CD, especially for triggering and monitoring test-related jobs. Experience with bug tracking and test case management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, etc. Good understanding of QA best practices, test cycles, and SDLC. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory):

Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON structures. Exposure to working in Agile or Scrum environments. Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
