We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 3+ years of manual testing experience to join our product team. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to handle end-to-end testing for assigned features or modules. This role is well-suited for professionals who can work independently with minimal guidance, collaborate across teams, and contribute to improving product quality in a fast-paced startup environment.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on manual testing experience in web or product-based applications. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies. Proven ability to write structured test cases and execute complex test scenarios. Experience in functional, regression, and user acceptance testing. Proficiency in JIRA or other project/issue-tracking tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills with both developers and product teams. Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of QA activities for assigned modules/features. Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and clarify ambiguities. Identify test scenarios and prepare detailed test cases in parallel with development. Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing. Report, track, and follow up on bugs, ensuring timely closure through collaboration. Actively participate in requirement discussions and provide inputs to strengthen product quality. Create and execute test plans for feature rollouts and enhancements. Ensure test coverage and maintain consistency across evolving features. Provide timely updates on testing status and risks to the team.
