Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Execution: Execute manual test cases based on project requirements. Identify and report defects or issues in the software.
Test Case Design: Work with the testing team to create and maintain test cases, ensuring coverage of all functional requirements.
Bug Reporting & Tracking: Log defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test results and generate reports to communicate testing progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand the project requirements and provide feedback.
Skills :
Graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), especially the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Familiarity with various testing types, such as Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools(e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar).
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
