Key Responsibilities
Analyze software requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
Create test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test cases.
Perform various types of testing: functional, integration, regression, and UAT.
Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools like Jira/Bugzilla.
Collaborate closely with developers, QA leads, and business teams for issue resolution.
Perform retesting and regression testing after fixes.
Prepare detailed test reports and maintain proper documentation.
Support basic API/database testing when required.
Ensure product quality by following QA processes and guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or related field.
1-4 years
of hands-on experience in manual software testing.
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Strong knowledge of test case design and defect lifecycle.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking tools.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
