Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Manual Tester

to join our Agile team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and a keen eye for detail to ensure the quality and reliability of our legacy application built on C++ and Java stack.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute

manual test cases

based on functional and technical specifications. Perform

functional, regression, integration, and system testing

. Identify, document, and track defects using standard defect management tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Prepare and maintain

test documentation

, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Participate in

UAT support

and assist in troubleshooting issues. Ensure compliance with

QA processes and standards

Mandatory Skills

Strong experience in

Manual Testing

(minimum 4 years). Ability to create detailed test cases and execute them effectively. Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Preferred Skills

Airline Domain

experience. Working knowledge of

Unix/Linux

for basic commands and log analysis. Understanding of

Databases

(SQL queries for data validation).

Qualifications

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Strong communication and documentation skills.
