Responsibilities
Review and analyze
system requirements
, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with
QA Engineers, Developers, and Product Owners
to define effective
test strategies and test plans
.
Execute
manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing
across multiple environments.
Maintain and execute
test cases in Zephyr
, ensuring proper traceability to user stories in Jira.
Perform
sanity and smoke testing
post-deployment and ensure timely validation of releases.
Verify
API responses
and integrations using tools like
Postman
, ensuring backend-frontend consistency.
Identify, log, and retest defects with clear
steps to reproduce
, screenshots, and evidence.
Participate actively in
Agile ceremonies
(grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Collaborate closely with the development team during
defect triage
and root cause discussions.
Support QA metrics tracking such as
defect leakage, coverage, and test execution progress

Continuously improve QA documentation, test design, and processes for higher efficiency.
Qualifications
Requirements - Must Have
3 to 10 years
of proven experience in
manual testing
as a QA Engineer or similar role.
Experience testing
production-level products
in an Agile environment.
Master's/Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
.
Solid understanding of
QA methodologies
, defect life cycle, and Agile frameworks.
Ability to write and execute
SQL queries
to validate data accuracy.
Strong skills in
test documentation, troubleshooting, and bug reporting

Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
