Key Responsibilities:
Operate manual machines (lathe, milling, drilling, grinding) as per job requirements.
Read and interpret engineering/mechanical drawings and diagrams accurately.
Set up machines with proper tools, speeds, and feeds.
Perform machining operations to produce parts to specified tolerances.
Inspect parts using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, etc.).
Maintain machines and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
Ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
Follow all safety protocols and shop floor guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in operating manual machines.
Ability to understand and work from technical drawings and diagrams.
Familiar with machining calculations (feeds, speeds, cutting depth).
Knowledge of measuring tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Tool & Die or equivalent preferred.
