Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operate

manual/conventional lathe machines

to perform machining tasks on metal components. Read and interpret

engineering drawings, sketches, and work orders

. Perform

turning, facing, grooving, threading, drilling, boring

, and knurling operations. Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces correctly to ensure precision. Measure and inspect finished parts using

calipers, micrometers, vernier scales

, and gauges. Maintain

tolerances and surface finish

as per specifications. Ensure

machine maintenance

, cleanliness, and adherence to safety guidelines. Report any mechanical issues or quality defects to supervisors. Follow production schedules and complete jobs within specified timelines. Maintain production records and daily logs.

Candidate Requirements:

Min 2 years of experience operating a

manual lathe machine

. Good understanding of

mechanical drawings and measurements

. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of

cutting speeds, feeds, and tool geometry

. Basic knowledge of

machine maintenance

and safety practices. Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
