Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development

Create hand-drawn sketches of new jewellery designs (gold, diamond, and gemstones). Develop innovative concepts based on market research, fashion trends, and client briefs. Ensure designs are aesthetically appealing and suitable for target customers.

Coordination with CAD & Production

Work closely with CAD designers, model makers, and production team to ensure manufacturability. Provide design clarity, measurements, and detailing for CAD conversion. Suggest design modifications for better finishing and production feasibility.

Collection Planning

Develop design themes and seasonal collections in coordination with the merchandising team. Maintain balance between traditional, contemporary, and market-demand designs.

Quality & Detailing

Ensure designs meet required standards of symmetry, proportions, and jewellery finishing. Provide detailed sketches showing front, side, and top views where needed. Suggest appropriate stone settings, metal combinations, and finishing styles.

Documentation & Record-Keeping

Maintain a portfolio of design sketches with proper coding. Prepare design sheets and reports for approval and production reference. Update design library regularly with new concepts.

Candidate Requirements:

Diploma / Degree in Jewellery Design / Fine Arts / Equivalent field. 1-3 years of experience as a manual jewellery designer. Strong sketching, drawing, and visualization skills. Knowledge of gold, diamond, gemstone types, and jewellery manufacturing techniques. Creativity with attention to detail and market trends. Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple teams.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
