The Manpower Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing blue-collar workers to ensure efficient daily operations. This role includes manpower planning, attendance tracking, task allocation, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with safety and company policies.
Allocate manpower daily based on project/site requirements.
Maintain updated manpower strength, shift schedules, and duty rosters.
Ensure timely reporting of workers to assigned locations.
Manage worker transfers between departments/projects as required.
2. Attendance & Documentation
Record daily attendance and maintain timesheets.
Verify overtime, leave requests, and absence records.
Report manpower-related data to HR/Operations for payroll processing.
3. Performance Monitoring
Supervise workers to ensure productivity and quality of work.
Identify skill gaps and recommend training where needed.
Conduct periodic evaluations and provide feedback to workers.
4. Workforce Discipline & Conflict Resolution
Enforce company rules, regulations, and site policies.
Address worker grievances, resolve disputes, and escalate issues when needed.
Participate in disciplinary actions as per company guidelines.
5. Safety & Compliance
Ensure all workers follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
Conduct toolbox talks or safety briefings as required.
Report accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately.
6. Recruitment & Onboarding Support
Coordinate with HR for new worker onboarding.
Assist in screening, selecting, and mobilizing blue-collar workers.
Maintain worker ID cards, records, and documentation.
7. Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and HR teams.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly manpower reports.
Communicate work instructions clearly to workers.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma / bachelor's degree (preferred).
Minimum 2-5 years of experience supervising blue-collar staff.
Knowledge of manpower planning, labor laws, and site operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multicultural workforces.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, attendance systems).
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
