Role: Manhattan Active WMS QA Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manhattan Active WMS to perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing for warehouse management solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MA WMS testing, warehouse workflows, APIs, and automation (optional).
Key Responsibilities
Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing for Manhattan Active WMS.
Validate warehouse processes: inbound, outbound, picking, packing, replenishment, inventory, labor management, etc.
Analyze functional requirements, user stories, and business rules to design effective test scenarios.
Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Perform testing for Active Omni, Active WM, and Active Allocation modules (as applicable).
Coordinate with development teams to document defects, track fixes, and ensure issue resolution.
Test API-based integrations (REST/SOAP), external systems, and third-party logistics platforms.
Support UAT activities and help business users with validation.
Provide clear QA reporting and collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Required Skills & Experience
6-8+ years of experience in WMS QA, with at least 2+ years in Manhattan Active WMS.
Strong understanding of Manhattan WMS functionalities:
Receiving, Putaway
Picking, Packing
Shipping
Inventory & Cycle Count
Slotting & Replenishment
Experience using Jira / ALM / Zephyr for test management.
Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman / ReadyAPI (mandatory).
Good understanding of SQL for data validation.
Strong documentation, defect tracking, and communication skills.
