Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Fresher for the position of Mandi Buyer - Fruits and Vegetables, based in Kottayam. This full-time role involves sourcing quality fruits and vegetables while ensuring competitive pricing and availability. As a pivotal link between farmers and the retail supply chain, you will employ effective buying strategies to support our mission of providing superior products to our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for fruits and vegetables, negotiating the best pricing and quality terms.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.
• Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics team to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
• Maintain robust relationships with farmers and vendors, fostering an environment of trust and continued business collaboration.
• Monitor the quality of sourced products, ensuring they meet the companys standards and customer expectations.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate records and compliance with the companys procurement policies.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic buying initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
• Support the implementation of cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
