Job Summary
The Managing Director will be responsible for driving the company's strategic direction, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. This executive will oversee all business functions, cultivate a high-performance culture, and act as the primary representative for stakeholders, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term strategies that align with company vision and growth objectives in the automotive and manufacturing sector.
- Oversee overall plant operations, production, supply chain, quality, and safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory, environmental, and industry standards.
- Manage the P&L, financial planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation. Drive profitability and maintain a robust balance sheet.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including new product lines, markets, and strategic partnerships.
- Champion continuous process improvement initiatives across manufacturing, quality, and support functions to boost productivity and efficiency.
- Foster strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, government agencies, investors, and the Board of Directors.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing executive leadership team and promote a culture of operational excellence and accountability.
- Ensure all products meet or exceed customer requirements for quality, safety, and delivery.
- Represent the company during critical negotiations and in key industry associations or forums.
- Uphold the organization's values and standards and act as the ambassador for company vision and brand.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the automotive or sheet-metal engineering sectors.
- Demonstrated expertise in business strategy, P&L management, operational improvement, and corporate governance.
- Proven ability to manage large teams, oversee cross-functional activities, and drive organizational transformation.
- Deep understanding of international standards for quality, safety, and environmental compliance in automotive manufacturing.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic and results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and business growth
Compensation
Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience, including performance bonuses and long-term incentives.
