Reporting To: Head - HR
Role Overview
The Manager - Training will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives across all India locations. This role is responsible for identifying skill gaps, designing development programs, and ensuring consistent implementation of training standards that drive employee performance, operational excellence, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Training Management
Develop and execute an annual training plan for cinema and head office employees aligned with business goals.
Identify training needs across all levels, functions, and locations.
Drive operational training programs to strengthen cinema performance and service delivery.
Training Program Development & Execution
Coordinate with external training partners for program design, content development, and delivery.
Lead Manager's School programs for Assistant Managers and Unit Heads.
Benchmark and incorporate best practices from international teams (Mexico).
Ensure training programs are engaging, impactful, and aligned with company standards.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Maintain and update a central training database.
Track attendance, participation, feedback, and program effectiveness.
Conduct regular audits at cinemas to ensure training compliance and identify improvement areas.
Budgeting & Reporting
Prepare, monitor, and control the training budget, ensuring cost efficiency.
Provide regular MIS reports on training progress, coverage, and ROI (man-hours, planned vs. actual, budget utilization).
Key Interfaces
Internal: Process Owners, Regional Trainers, Cinema Managers, HO Department Managers, Operations Head, International (Mexico) Training Team.
External: Training Institutes, Trainers, and Learning Partners.
Scope of Influence
Lead certification and validation of training materials.
Drive execution of training plans and strategies across multiple regions.
Negotiate with vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective training solutions.
