Team Manager
FanCode continues to focus on becoming India’s biggest digital sports fan destination by bringing access to worldwide sporting action and democratizing the entire journey of sports fans. We need a sports fan who can relate and closely observe this journey, understand how each of the features and offerings are built, and tell the story to the larger stakeholder groups. You will be responsible for supporting all external and internal communications efforts for FanCode by acting as a key liaison between several internal teams - product, tech, partnerships, marketing, content, and merchandising. Role will include PR strategy planning, flawless execution across initiatives, and assisting the brand in research and planning.Your Role:You will lead all media outreach efforts for the brand and manage relations with sports & lifestyle media for FanCode along with the central PR team and designated agency partner
Liaise with internal teams on all PR matters for the region - product, tech, partnerships, marketing, content, and merchandising
Work with external stakeholders to help build awareness and relevance for sports events featured on FanCode
Develop narratives for PR and digital storytelling as per the brand objectives and communication pillars
Draft all communications including press release, press notes, e-mail responses, and briefing documents for spokesperson
Evaluate speaking opportunities across industry platforms and POC on-site for seamless execution of events/interactions
Daily media monitoring for brand and industry developments, and upkeep of the press office
Must Haves:6-10 years of experience in sports PR or journalism
Excellent sports content writing capabilities
Strong relations with English and Regional media across sports and lifestyle beats
Strong passion for sports

Good to Have:Previous experience of working with/for start-ups
Understanding of corporate and tech landscape
Exposure to integrated PR campaigns - traditional media, social media, digital marketing
