Role purpose:

To manage and migrate VMware, OpenStack workload on RedHat OpenShift Platform. Responsible for designing, migrating, installation, deployment, configuration & management of private cloud platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, Install, configure and manage RedHat OpenShift, OpenStack platform with migration expertise. Knowledge on all kind of private cloud & virtualization environment like VMware, OpenShift and OpenStack. Develop and deploy OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability. Installation and configuration of migration tools like MTV. Good understanding of software and hardware storage solutions like RedHat CEPH, ODF, Dell EMC VNX and ISCSI. Utilize migration frameworks to standardize implementation and configuration processes. Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.

Knowledge and Experience:

+ Experience in RedHat OpenShift, OpenStack, K8s, DevOps and migration tools like MTV.
+ Proficient in VMs migration like VMware to OpenStack/OpenShift and VMware to OpenShift.
+ Knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git
+ Ensure robust data protection and backup strategies for cloud-native environments
+ Good understanding of storage.
+ Experience with RedHat, CoreOS and ESXI Operating Systems.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
