We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to lead our vulnerability contextualization function. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vulnerability assessment and management operations, with the ability to identify, analyze, and track security weaknesses across systems, networks, and applications. This role will embed security according to business criticality and ensure timely remediation by working closely with technical teams and will contribute to strengthening the organization's overall security posture.
Conduct regular vulnerability scans across systems, applications, networks, and cloud environments.
Analyze scan results, validate findings, and assess risk based on severity, exploitability, and business impact.
Contextualize the vulnerability based on business criticality and transition vulnerability management from technical reporting to Risk-based reporting, enabling business to take adequate risk.
Work closely with application, infrastructure, and network teams to track remediation and verify closure of vulnerabilities.
Prepare and deliver vulnerability reports and dashboards for management and technical teams.
Support incident response teams during zero-day or critical vulnerability events.
Maintain vulnerability management tools, processes, and documentation.
Identify false positives and ensure accuracy of vulnerability data.
Monitor threat intelligence sources to identify emerging vulnerabilities and risks.
Assist in implementing security controls, baselines, and patch management practices.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements related to vulnerability management.
Experience & Skills
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
8 to 10 years of experience in vulnerability management, cybersecurity, or related roles.
Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Nucleus).
Understanding of networking, operating systems, cloud environments, and security principles.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH) are highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders
