Inviting applications for the role of Manager - UK Regulatory Reporting
MAIN PURPOSE:
The role and responsibilities include preparation, filing & submission of Solvency & other financial returns for different geographies to external regulator, Journal preparation & processing, raising queries, interacting with the client whenever required
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Business Analyst capabilities
  • Liaison between Business and Technical areas
  • Review and refine Functions Solution Document
  • Support business teams in the definition of business requirements and translate these into more detailed technical requirements for use by the technology teams where required
  • Help co-ordinate the technical requirements gathering, estimating and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams
  • Flexibility when solving and making decisions taking into account a broad range of internal and external factors; understanding and working effectively with senior management; adjusts actions and decisions for focus on critical issues; accepts accountability for impact of decisions made.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders; gain the cooperation of peers and customers, persuade others; mobilize people to take action.
  • Excellent communication, documentation and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of successful project execution
  • Ability to multi-task and work under high pressure deadlines
  • Ability to reprioritize timely
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
  • Familiarity with financial products and financial institution operations
  • Support the data and systems analysis activities within the project, identifying the business and technical requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Formalize the results of data and systems analysis into structured documentation and obtain approval from the key stakeholders
  • Form strong business relationships
  • Participate and undertake applicable professional, technical and career development training (delivered internally and externally) to include attainment of associated qualifications where required
  • Where applicable ensure company, market and client related documentation is issued (internally and externally) accurately and on time
  • Comply with external and internal regulatory and statutory policies, procedures and regulations
  • To operate as an effective team member by supporting colleagues and contributing to the delivery and achievement of overall team and business objectives.
  • Liaise with key business groups to establish, support and maintain solid business relationships and organizational effectiveness
  • Understanding & working of Lloyd's platform/applications (CMR, MDC, ORS & Secureshare) would be an added advantage
  • SHIFT - UK shift (12:30 PM - 9:30 PM)
REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
  • Qualified Accountant/Master's degree in finance, business, or equivalent
  • 7-9 years of progressive experience in banking or financial services
  • Financial Services experience, preferably with Regulatory reporting covering banks and investment firms
  • Person from Insurance P&C background would be an added advantage with sound knowledge & experience of Lloyd's/Syndicate accounting & Reporting process
  • Good systems and application skills. EXCEL, and Reg. reporting application.
