Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) for plastic injection moulding operations.
Oversee inspection processes for raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality requirements.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
Manage quality documentation including control plans, FMEA, PPAP, and process audit reports.
Conduct supplier quality audits and ensure supplier compliance with specifications.
Train and guide the quality team on inspection methods, measurement techniques, and defect analysis.
Coordinate with production, design, and maintenance teams to resolve quality concerns.
Monitor and analyse quality KPIs (rejection rates, customer complaints, inspection results) for continuous improvement.
Address customer quality issues and ensure the timely resolution of complaints.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Plastics, or Polymer Engineering (CIPET preferred).
Minimum 10 years' experience in Quality Management within plastic injection moulding.
Strong knowledge of engineering plastics, moulding processes, and secondary operations.
Proficiency in quality tools (SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred:
Experience in automotive components manufacturing.
Familiarity with scientific moulding and advanced measurement techniques.
