Job Description

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals. Manage end-to-end procurement of steel, raw materials, consumables, and related services. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while driving supplier performance improvement. Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and supply-demand fluctuations in the steel industry. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements. Optimize inventory levels and implement cost-saving initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and finance to streamline processes. Prepare procurement reports, MIS, and forecasts for management review.

Requirements

8-20 years of experience in procurement within the

steel or construction industry

(raw material & consumables). Strong knowledge of steel grades, specifications, and industry suppliers. Proven negotiation, contract management, and vendor development skills. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office. Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
