About this Role

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to support and drive digital initiatives for managing multi-domain and multi-vendor OSS platforms. This role requires a detailed understanding of modern OSS applications, architecture, and support environments, coupled with knowledge of DevOps practices, Agile methodology, and the ITIL framework.
What you will do
--------------------
Ensure high availability of all in-scope applications at all times.
Enable customers through automation and self-service capabilities.
Take end-to-end accountability for incident resolution related to application faults and alerts.
Manage vendor coordination and access to the production environment for troubleshooting, debugging, and incident resolution.
Interact with multiple teams over planned and unplanned changes to support application growth and maintenance.
Work with network teams to improve APIs between OSS applications and their platforms.
Perform device and network provisioning in respective tools.
Coordinate UAT and production deployment for application and OS version upgrades.
Provide initial user support and training on the use of in-scope applications.
Support planning for growth, major application upgrades, bug fixing, license management, and new functionality enablement.
Simplify requirement gathering and communication with users to speed up change, incident, and problem management processes.
Manage UAM, KPI/Dashboard/monitoring/alerting requirement gathering, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Produce reports on value-add provided along with standard operational KPIs.
Who you are
---------------
You have over 7 years of experience in the Telecom OSS domain.
You have experience with customisation/configuration on Software Defined Network Controllers and Network planning and provisioning applications.
You have experience with Unix/Linux systems and knowledge of coding and scripting languages including PHP, Python, Perl, Shell, and API development.
You have a basic understanding of DevOps practices and experience with Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, ELK, and Icinga/Nagios.
You have a basic understanding of networking protocols like SNMP, ICMP, and netconf, and different network architectures like WAN, SD-WAN, and MPLS.
You are flexible and open to working on multiple assignments and 24/7 rotating shifts.
You have good communication skills.
