Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Maintenance Engineer Manager

to oversee all maintenance operations for our hospital. The ideal candidate will be a leader, capable of managing a team of technicians, ensuring the safety and reliability of all hospital infrastructure, equipment, and systems. This role is critical to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

Lead, mentor, and supervise the maintenance team. Schedule and delegate daily tasks, conduct performance reviews, and provide training to ensure the team is up-to-date on all procedures and best practices.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:

Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all hospital systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and fire safety systems. Respond promptly to all repair requests and manage corrective maintenance projects efficiently.

System & Equipment Oversight:

Ensure all critical hospital equipment (e.g., generators, boilers, and medical machinery) is in good working order and regularly tested to meet safety standards.

Compliance & Safety:

Maintain strict compliance with all local, state, and national health, safety, and building codes. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.

Budget & Resource Management:

Manage the departmental budget, track expenditures, and procure necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.

Emergency Response:

Act as a key member of the hospital's emergency response team, coordinating maintenance efforts during power outages, system failures, or other emergencies.

Documentation & Reporting:

Keep accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs. Generate regular reports for senior management on the status of all systems and ongoing projects.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other hospital departments, including clinical, operations, and administration, to ensure maintenance activities minimize disruption to patient care.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, with at least 3 years specifically within a hospital or healthcare facility.

Technical Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems. Familiarity with medical equipment maintenance is highly desirable.

Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, vendors, and senior leadership.

Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.

Pay: ?50,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
