Role purpose:
A DevOps engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth health of daily ETL batch based on Abinitio/Teradata Vantage cloud on GCP (L2 support), deployment support. The role blends technical & leadership expertise with operational efficiency to support business-critical applications.

• Troubleshoot any issues in daily DWH production ETL jobs based on Abinitio & Teradata Vantage Cloud on GCP
• Provide deployment support for new & enhanced applications
• Co-ordination with project managers, development, testing & other teams
• Update remedy tickets based on the incident/service request status
• On call support for daily batch jobs during night & weekend

Additional Skills :

• Automation & innovation from existing processes
• Performance improvement of the jobs
• Good knowledge of SQL, Unix scripting
• Knowledge of telecom domain and Google cloud
• Work on Google cloud POC,Manage IAM, virtual machines, Kubernetes
• Strong leadership

Essential

• 8 yrs experience in Abinitio support
• Knowledge of Teradata vantage
• Good hands on Unix/SQL
• Handling cloud platform on GCP
• Strong leadership

Desired

• ITIL skills
• Unix scripting
