We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to lead the Loan Against Policy (LAP) vertical within our insurance operations. The role involves managing the complete LAP process--from client on boarding to loan disbursement--while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end Loan Against Policy operations including lead management, documentation, and loan disbursement.
Coordinate with insurance partners, clients, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate loan processing.
Evaluate policy documents, assess surrender value, and determine eligible loan amounts as per guidelines.
Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
Drive business growth through process efficiency and strong customer relationship management.
Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions to minimize risk.
Prepare and present MIS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to management.
Lead, train, and motivate the team to meet productivity and compliance goals.
Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of Loan Against Policy processes and life insurance products.
Strong analytical, documentation, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and client-handling abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and loan management systems.
Leadership qualities with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 6-10 years in LAP / Insurance Operations (preferably from Life Insurance or NBFC background).
Industry Preference: Insurance / NBFC / Financial Services.
Compensation:
As per industry standards and candidate experience.
