Olam Global Business Services (OGBS) is a captive unit that offers End to End business process and analytics solutions. OGBS currently offers its solutions in 6 Platforms: Finance, Supply Chain, People services, Risk & Market Compliance, Big Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. At this moment, OGBS is located in City of Chennai, India and provides its services to over 20 countries. Job Summary

The candidate should be an accounting graduate/postgraduate from Finance related streams. This role supports month-end close, PTP & OTC activities, accruals, pre-payments, fixed assets accounting and reporting, Treasury activities - BRS / Cash flow & Fund flow reports, Intercompany reconciliations. The job role includes managing the books of accounts , compliances and timely reporting of financials., etc..



Responsible for managing all verticals of Accounting and Finance functions (AR, & Reporting); oversee an organization\'s daily operations

• Responsible for group financial consolidation, monthly book closure, preparation and posting of Journal entries, financial reporting and reconciliations
• Responsible for all statutory compliance under direct & indirect tax laws \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring data integrity and appropriate controls in the IT system impacting financial processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Designing & implementing processes to improve internal control across accounting, financial reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other processes impacting numbers in Financial Reporting directly or indirectly \xe2\x80\xa2 Focus on revenue recognition and evaluation of all business transactions from accounting and Transfer pricing perspective \xe2\x80\xa2 Work alongside statutory and internal auditors, tax advisors, and other relevant stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Comply with Direct and Indirect taxes of the legal entity under supervision and guidance of central tax team including transfer pricing regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Control over timely billing and collection for services provided.

Profile Summary

• CA/CMA or equivalent degree with minimum 7-12 years of experience.

• Prior experience of working for Singapore legal entity and handling accounts operation & taxation will be added advantage
• Oversight of GL, AR and is an added advantage
• Good understanding of IFRS and candidates with experience in SAP is required
• Should have excellent organisational and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work in tight deadlines
• Good communication, interpretation and comprehension skills, proactive and good in numbers
• Willingness to work in different time zones and willingness to travel (short, informed trips) based on the business needs
