Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Ballastless Track (BLT) Designer to lead the design and optimization of advanced railway track solutions, including slab track systems, derailment walls, and reinforced concrete column tracks. The ideal candidate will have expertise in track geometry, structural analysis, and rail-structure interaction (RSI) analysis to ensure safety, durability, and operational efficiency. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable BLT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ballastless track systems, including slab track, embedded rail, and floating track bed solutions.

• Perform structural analysis for track components, including rail fastening systems, sleepers, and substructure elements.

• Lead BLT track slab design and ensure compliance with international railway standards (AREMA, UIC, Indian Railways, EN 13670, etc.).

• Develop BLT derailment wall designs to enhance railway safety and mitigate risks.

• Conduct RSI (Rail-Structure Interaction) analysis to assess track performance under dynamic and static loading conditions.

• Design and optimize reinforced concrete (RCC) column track structures for metro and high-speed rail applications.

• Ensure proper integration of track design with geotechnical, structural, and environmental requirements.

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for BLT implementation.

• Evaluate track stiffness, thermal expansion, and noise/vibration mitigation techniques.

• Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for project execution.

• Ensure safety, reliability, and longevity of BLT solutions while minimizing maintenance costs.

• Collaborate with construction teams to provide technical guidance and resolve on-site design challenges.

• Design co-ordination with other stake holders related to design approval as well as Project execution.
