Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform detail E&I engineering activities like preparation of Instrument Index, Instrument schedule, I/O schedule, Cable schedule, Instrument specification sheet (ISS), Instrument installation schedule (IIS), Hook-Up diagrams .


Preparation of Data sheets for control valve, flow elements, Instruments as per SAFE / HAZARDOUS AREA (Zone-1, Zone-2 etc.,) & as per project requirements / tender specification etc.,, finalize the instrument make/model etc., and share it to SCM team for procurement


Review Selection & sizing of control valves, orifice plate submitted by vendors and approval.


Performing cable sizing, cable routing & scheduling. Preparation of Instrument mounting and piping drawings


Preparation of process functional block diagram, Control narrative and Cause & Effect documents.


Preparation of Junction box layout and Cable tray layout design. Selection of JB and tray with spare count as per tender specification.


Sending inquiries for MCC and VFD panels of compressor motors' (eg. LT & HT Motor) to vendors as per the project specification and reviewing it after getting drawings from Vendor.


Review of Motor data-sheet (LT&HT Motors) , GAD as per the requirement and give clearance to project/SCM team for procurement


Conducting FAT of VFD Panels, MCC Panels, PLC Panels, Motors after completion of work.


Participation in HAZOP Study and implementation of changes as per the HAZOP requirements


Reviewing project specifications and requirements to develop accurate proposals during pre-sales estimation stage.


Estimation of Electrical and Instrumentation activities within the scope and ensuring that proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations and Presenting proposals to clients and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns.
