Job Title: Secure by Design Consultant - BI & Analytics

About this Role

As a Secure by Design Consultant within the Global Cyber Strategy & Secure by Design team, you will serve as a critical link between technical disciplines and business functions. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct technically oriented security assessments, define security requirements for new products and services, and evaluate compliance and risk. This role plays a key advisory function, offering security design and architectural guidance across the organisation. You will also act as a cyber coach to agile project and programme teams, ensuring that future infrastructures and products are secure by design.This position specifically focuses on embedding secure by design principles within the global Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics programme.

Relevant Experience:

Required Experience with security in agile ways of working.Profound knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.Above fundamental understanding of AI Cyber Security for enterprise services, with strong familiarity in Responsible AI practices.Expertise in data analytics and their associated cyber security requirements.Enthusiasm for learning and developing new controls and requirements to support innovative product needs in cyber security.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

University degree in Information Security or equivalent.One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, GIAC, TOGAF, SABSA or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years' work experience in the field of cyber security.

Roles & Responsibilites

: Conduct security assessments and define security requirements for new products, services, and infrastructure.Provide expert guidance on security design and architecture across global programmes, with a focus on BI & Analytics.Act as a cyber coach to agile teams, embedding secure by design principles into project lifecycles.Ensure that all global products, services, and internal systems meet appropriate security standards and mitigate risks to acceptable levels.Offer consultancy to internal and external stakeholders on security-related matters.Communicate security requirements and risks effectively to all levels of the business, including non-technical stakeholders.Define and communicate security expectations to suppliers and third parties, ensuring alignment with Vodafone's security standards.
