The American Express Corporate Segment Controllership organization is looking for a proactive, energetic, and dedicated finance and accounting professional that can integrate well into a high performing and dynamic environment. The appropriate accounting, controls and reporting for the Company's compensation and benefits programs. We are looking for someone who demonstrates success in operating efficiently across varying tasks and deadlines with strong communication, collaboration, and people-leadership skills. We ensure the appropriate planning, accounting, financial reporting and controls for the retirement plans, shareholders' equity activities, and earnings per share (EPS), and the Company's incentive and stock-based compensation, benefit programs in the United States. We advise business partners on new or changing business activities. We focus on developing financial control and risk governance processes, proactively identifying process efficiencies, and raising overall financial control awareness in the business. We play a meaningful role in the external reporting for the Company, including in SEC, Federal Reserve and other statutory filings, earnings announcements and legal entity financial statement disclosures.
