The objective of the Finance Control Management Risk Advisory and Specialized Operational Risk team is to provide specialized and strategic risk advisory specific to Finance areas, while supporting compliance with programs such as Third-Party Risk Management, Business Continuity Management and Model Governance.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Finance is looking for a Manager BCM, reporting to the Director, Control Management - Specialized OR. The responsibilities include :

+ Be the key point of contact for finance functions, providing analytical insights around Business Continuity Management (BCM) & Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Programs.
+ Be Finance point of contact for Enterprise BCM team and 2LOD to implement program changes and remediate issues as they arise.
+ Manage and provide Governance support to the Finance BIA-BCP Program including Plan update testing, Annual Business Function certification and several Enterprise Resilience Initiatives.
+ Provide extensive support in helping to strengthen resilience, report gaps and manage relationships with Finance Process Owners.
+ Prepare and publish Business Unit dashboards and provide RPR update to senior leadership.
+ Lead a team of 2 individuals and provide regular guidance by challenging the status quo to ensure high standards of program management
+ Provide strategic thought leadership by being articulate, innovative, and providing a clear vision in line with the Finance Framework for Winning
Understand and monitor Risk Performance Rating Elements on a continuous basis and proactively highlight potential impacts / pressure points to the leadership

Minimum Qualifications

7 plus years of experience in Finance/Accounting, Program/Project Management, Compliance or Control Management functions within the banking or financial services industries.


MBA/CA or equivalent will be preferred.

Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.

Prior experience of Business Continuity Program will be an added advantage

Strong presentation and communication skills, particularly in the development of professional and insightful messaging across all levels of management.

Ability to navigate a matrixed environment and influence outcomes, build strong relationships with a wide variety of business partner
