Basic Function -

Process entails review of banking journal entry performed on day-to-day basis. Manage the period - end close cycle - Month-end/Quarter-end/Annual for banking transaction of various countries. Expert knowledge of banking activities including query management. Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently


Essential Functions

Require expert knowledge and ability to manage month close accounting journals, review reconciliations and financial statements and related reports, investigate problems and organize projects


Primary Internal Interactions



Manager/ Assistant Manager for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support Manager for the purpose of settling issues left unresolved by the Assistant Manager and monthly evaluation of performance Peers (team members) for the purpose of seeking co-operation & clarification on process-related matters & providing assistance and support when required


Primary External Interactions



Onshore Team Manager and SMEs for daily planning of work and execution of deliverables Must demonstrate effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills Strong time management and organization skills

Technical Skills

Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFA or equivalent with 6 - 9 years' experience in US GAAP / IFRS accounting experience B.Com with strong practical experience in Accounting and reporting for more than 10-12 years

Process Specific Skills

Should have expert level understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures. Requires the knowledge and ability to review Journals, reconciliations provide solutions to technical accounting issues and organize projects Insurance accounting regulatory reporting experience or US GAAP/IFRS knowledge mandatory. Strong knowledge of Group Consolidation accounting and financials Ability to understand the significance of various activities in a statutory/GAAP accounting close cycle and deliver results accordingly.
