Manager - Transportation (Cross Dock) This role is responsible for managing Cross Dock (X-Dock) operations, including pickup, delivery, and line haul network activities. The incumbent will ensure efficient and seamless network operations while driving service quality, cost efficiency, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day X-Dock operations covering pickup, delivery, and line haul functions. - Achieve and monitor key operational KPIs such as on-time performance, turnaround time, and productivity. - Drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure effective vendor management. Maintain strong customer engagement and ensure high service quality levels. - Ensure strict adherence to system processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements. - Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. - Leverage operational scale to support volume growth and profitability for the transport business. - Maintain strong and effective relationships with key domestic transport customers and site teams with in the region. - Manage the Transport operations at X Docks - Liaison with Customer, sites leads as required - Ensure deliverables as per KPI agreed with customer - Working with Network team and sites for greater understanding and business improvement - X Docks Operations performance review - Volume, service levels, Cost, Safety - Vendor management - Do review of vendors performance and cost. - Ensure their bills paid on time. - Develop new vendor for Network Transport operation for Last mile delivery and Satellite location - Liaison with Sites for increase volume in network so that Cube utilization improve. - Ensure operating teams meet our contractual commitments for service, cost and reporting - Ensure Process must follow of network transport operation like Material Handling, TMS, DEPS, Line haul ops - Ensure Quarterly Business Reviews with vendors to provide feedback and track progress are undertaken - Periodically, KPI reporting across transport operations in the Xdocks, Like service performance, Cost Oversees the overall people processes to ensure compliance with Human Resources policies - Ensure that all posts are filled with high quality personnel, and in conjunction with HR that appropriate training, development and reward mechanisms are in place to attract, retain and motivate employees to achieve required performance levels. - Ensure all process download to the team and keep Training on overall Transport KPI.
