Role Description
Responsible for developing the Trade Credit portfolio across new clients and existing ones.
The role requires understanding of Trade Credit products both on the financial lines as well as casualty.
Ensuring consistent support and engagement with the Salasar sales and servicing team to secure a flow of new revenue for the company.
Personally meet with prospects, conducts in depth dialogue and develops a positive business relationship built on mutual trust.
Partners across the firm to utilize appropriate resources for initial and ongoing prospect sales meetings and proposals.
Drafting of placement Slips and coordinate to float the slips for quotes.
To develop the portfolio to a size and scale where in more resources can be inducted and grown further in revenue and size.
Documentation of all the slips/ terms/ cover notes of the risks placed
Tracking renewals for competition and various RI Driven covers in Trade Credit business
Servicing for all Trade Credit proposals placed by the firm.
Claims MIS to be maintained
Tracking of Claims documentation
Claim remittance from the insurer/reinsurers to be collected and passed onto client/Insurer
Keeps up to date on prospects' current issues, researches new information on prospects.
Ensures timeframes and deliverables are met in the sales process; and ensures that post-sales teams provide quality service to all assigned clients.
Develops and maintains effective network within the business community and industry.
Other Responsibility:
- A
ssist in preparing proposals for client presentation and participate in group presentations. Support senior colleagues with research papers.
Academic Background
PG/MBA or a Law graduate from reputed institute preferred (or as an exception if the experience has strong flavor of techno marketing, underwriting and managerial capabilities)
Work Experience: -
- Corporate Relationship Management / Business Solution Provider from a service background.
- Domain knowledge preferred
