Key Responsibilities
1. Tendering & Bid Management
Lead the end-to-end tendering process for private and government projects.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accuracy and completeness.
Evaluate project scope, risks, and opportunities prior to bid submission.
Prepare detailed tender checklists, ensure compliance with all submission requirements.
Strategize bid pricing and ensure competitive, value-engineered proposals.
2. Estimation & Cost Analysis
Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for turnkey interior fit-out works including civil, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, and finishes.
Develop rate analysis based on project drawings, quantities, and market inputs.
Benchmark and maintain cost databases for materials, labor, and subcontractors.
Collaborate with design and execution teams for technical feasibility and cost optimization.
Support project budgeting and feasibility studies for new opportunities.
3. Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination
Float RFQs to vendors and subcontractors; analyze and evaluate quotations.
Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure competitive cost advantages.
Build and maintain a reliable vendor database with updated material and labor rates.
Assess vendor technical competence and past performance.
4. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions with supporting documents.
Review and compile pre-qualification documents, presentations, and company profiles.
Maintain detailed tender logs, cost sheets, and post-bid analysis reports.
Present management with bid summaries, risk analysis, and profitability projections.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with project managers, architects, and procurement teams for input during bid preparation.
Conduct internal cost review meetings prior to final bid submission.
Assist management in client presentations and commercial negotiations.
Provide handover reports and cost breakdowns to project execution teams after award.
Key Skills & Competencies
Technical Proficiency:
Deep understanding of interior fit-out materials, specifications, and execution methodology.
Strong command over
BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost modeling

Expertise in
MS Excel (Advanced), AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and tender documentation tools

e-tendering platforms

Qualifications & Experience
Education:
B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Architecture (mandatory).
MBA in Project Management / Operations.
Experience:
5-10 years in
estimation, costing, or tendering
within the
turnkey interior contracting / fit-out / construction industry
.
Proven track record in managing bids for large-scale
corporate interiors, retail, or commercial projects
