The Manager, Technical Projects Consultant supports the successful delivery of our strategic transformation and change initiatives. This role contributes to projects of varying scale and complexity. It also ensures that project outcomes are delivered to scope, time, and budget, while also supporting the development and application of project management standards and practices across the business. The role is spilt across client facing Technology Consulting and internal Technology Operations projects. It will require deep technical implementation knowledge as well as technology project management experience. The successful candidate will need experience in delivering technical workstreams on projects, project management/program management (pref. PMP certification) and working knowledge of integration and middleware tools with hands on experience.

Key Accountabilities

What you'll be doing

Tech Operations - Project Management

Own the delivery of internal digital business applications/ systems as a project manager performing project management, process design, technology design, change management guidance, business requirements documentation, test plans, data migration strategy design, training plans and transition to business as usual. Work with project stakeholders and advise on functional and technical integration capabilities of technology partners, including gathering requirements and liaising between stakeholders and developers.

Tech Consulting and Implementation - Delivery

Own the delivery of technology implementation projects - design, development, and maintenance of technology platforms primarily platforms like CRMs, ATSs, or other talent technology or recruitment-based platforms. Delivering technical workstreams on projects, not always the project manager. Be a technology consultant to customers and advise on functional and technical integration capabilities of technology partners, including gathering requirements and liaising between client and developers Performing project management including creation and management of project plans, process design, technology design, change management guidance, business requirements documentation, test plans, data migration strategy design, training plans and transition to business as usual.

Team Leadership & Management

Oversee skill development, performance reviews, and engineering best practices. Process Optimization & Support Lead process automation initiatives and workflow improvements using third-party technology tools. Support consulting teams with technical expertise in implementing and troubleshooting external solutions. Stakeholder Collaboration & Training Strong internal and external stakeholder management, this is a client facing role for Technology Consulting. Act as technology advisor for leadership and consulting teams, representing tech strategy to key stakeholders and clients. Lead technology adoption initiatives and training programs, ensuring staff use systems effectively.

Skills & Experience

Experience with technology-related projects that support internal operations.Consulting experience with demonstrated client delivery. Experience and understanding in Project Management methodology and toolkits (Waterfall or Agile) with strong governance and reporting. Experience in delivering technical or digitally focused projects across multiple internal workstreams. Demonstrated governance, structure, and reporting discipline. Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, including presenting to senior leadership and steering committees. Experience of running large-scale or multi-stream improvement or change projects is desired.
