Role Overview:
As the Manager-Taxation, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing all aspects of our taxation processes. This includes ensuring compliance with tax laws, implementing effective tax strategies, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company's financial position.
Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with finance and legal teams to address tax-related issues and provide expert advice.
Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure proactive compliance.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.
Qualifications:
Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
Experience:
One to Two years of relevant experience in tax, with a focus on progressively responsible roles.
Experience in both public accounting and private industry may be beneficial.
