Job Description

1. Handling all Direct & Indirect Tax matters 2. Computation of Income, Income Tax Return, Deferred Tax Computation 3. Handling Tax Assessments at various levels & working on detailed submissions 4. TDS, TCS & other relevant Tax Compliances 5. Transfer Pricing Returns and Study Reports, Assessments at various levels 6. GL scrutiny on regular basis of verifying compliance in terms of TDS & TCS 7. Reconciliation of Tax GLs & passing necessary Tax accounting entries 8. Ensuring smooth GST implementation. 9. Dealing with auditors for Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, various other audits as per statute for taxation matters. 10. Dealing with various consultants & tax authorities 11. Ensuring the various Secretarial Compliances 12. Continuous follow-up for legal cases / issues 14. External interface and its purpose \xe2\x80\x93 - Interfacing with external Auditors, Vendors Customers, Bankers, Consultants etc. 15. Internal interface and its purpose - Interfacing with the internal auditors, functional heads, cross functional teams and other internal stakeholders 16. Working knowledge of Microsoft D 365 is preferred 17. Excellent ability to communicate and work with functional heads and divisional in-charge to implement system and processes 18. Excellent ability to manage and develop a team Key figure (KPI): Accuracy in Taxation & Compliance Functions, Timely completion of Tax Returns & Assessment activities, setting up processes to improve data quality and accessibility, compliance with statutory laws, Follow-up of legal cases, Timely completion of secretarial compliances, ensuring smooth treasury operations.
Responsibility: Responsible for Direct & Indirect Tax compliances, GST implementation, Co-ordination with Bankers for smooth banking & treasury operations, Ensuring Secretarial and Legal Compliances.
Education required: Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field, or CA Final drop out with 7-8 Years of experience minimum , Regards Deepika Mahapatra dmahapatra@phillipscorp.com
