Main purpose of the role:
The incumbent will be responsible for the full Talent Acquisition function for the India-based office. The TA team in India is split between our Chennai and Mumbai offices and has a total of 4 recruiters currently. This role reports into local HR leadership with a dotted line into the global TA team.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Create strong talent pipelines for our Company's current and future hiring needs.
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., social platforms and professional networks).
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
  • Maintain regular reports on key talent acquisition metrics.
  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain an advantage in attraction, assessment, and sourcing methodologies.
  • Coordinate the activities of those assigned members of the HR Shared Services Talent Acquisition team in Chennai at all stages in the hiring lifecycle.
Skills & Experience:
  • Degree & preferably CIPD qualified
  • Knowledge of standard hiring practices, recruitment metrics, interview techniques, and management systems and approaches.
  • Actively embraces social media, cv databases, professional networks, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and able to handle multiple projects.
  • Can-do attitude, willingness to help and advise others but not undertake their activities for them.
  • A proactive approach to HR and Talent Acquisition as a value-add function
  • Engineering, Industrial, Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, or energy sector experience would be beneficial
  • Having worked alongside an HR Shared Service would be desirable
