Job Description
Manager SCM
Sourcing:
1. Sourcing raw materials from Domestic and International suppliers.
2. Inviting quotations from the vendors and prepare comparison chart for placing orders.
3. Preparing costing sheets of imported material
4. Coordinating with Import division for tracking the orders placed with the international vendors.
5. Planning packing material SKU wise and coordinating with procurement department for timely availability at plants.
6. Finalizing Marketing agreements with the domestic suppliers.
7. Vendor Management
Supply Chain Management:
1. Preparing budgets, region and state wise.
2. Monthly compilation of demand forecasting SKU wise as provided by sales team.
3. Supply of material from plants to depots as per the indents.
4. Daily coordination with plants for timely dispatch of material to depots.
5. Tracking of inbound & outbound of stocks.
Logistics:
1. Planning lorries from plant to depots and arranging freight approval.
2. Handling inter depot transfers and freight negotiations.
3. Preparing summary of freight expense incurred from plant to depots.
MIS:
1. Preparing different reports on stocks, freights, and international orders and reporting of the same data.
