Position vacant : Supply Chain Manager

Location : Mumbai

Qualifications : MBA / Post-graduation in logistics management, supply chain management or a relevant degree

MBA (from NITIE is preferred) and Engineering.

CTC : 20 - 25 Lakhs

Roles and Responsibilities:

- This position is responsible for strategic and tactical fulfilling demand of various customers and channels, managing the inventory, analysing operational performance and resolving issues that arise along the way with vendors or suppliers if necessary to ensure quality standards stay high throughout each operation, including shipping.

- Collecting bottom up periodic Demand forecasting under dynamic market conditions from various sales teams and direct customers

- Supply planning (Distribution Planning, Promotions Planning, New Product Introduction) at lowest level of granularity. Ownership of supply from production points/Hubs till availability at depots while respecting lead times.

- To look after SCM operations - including Hub/CFA operations / Logistics and transportation as per company policies and budgets for Pan India.

- Require need base support for Audits of Line 1 depots in western region.

- Aligning the weekly demand to production plans and production schedules monthly.

- Previous experience in FMCG production or planning will be advantage

- Interfacing with sales to ensure demand is sufficiently captured, understood, and fulfilled.

- Hands on experience of logistics -interface with transport vendors, managing contracts.

- Ability to understand and comprehend legal documents.

- Analytical skills - using data for decision making. No demand will be accurate so sound anticipation skills are needed. Advanced Excel skills will be appreciated.

- Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment and delivery and return of products.

- Understanding principles of accounting and finance.

- Building relationships within the company and with external parties, such as supplier or distributor.

- Responsible for fill rate compliance, planning efficiencies, cost take outs, inventory rationalization and innovations numbers.
