Ankush Job Title: Manager - Standard Room (Calibration)

Location: Ludhiana

Salary: ₹45,000 to ?55,000 per month

Qualification:

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering

Experience:

8 to 12 years of proven experience in Calibration, Standard Room, and Quality Systems, preferably in the Automobile or Engineering industry.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled professional to manage our Standard Room (Calibration Department). The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of calibration processes, measurement techniques, and quality standards. He/She will be responsible for maintaining accuracy and compliance of all gauges, measuring instruments, and standards used in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, supervise, and execute calibration of all gauges, instruments, and measuring equipment in compliance with ISO/NABL standards.

Prepare and maintain calibration schedules, traceability records, and documentation required for audits.

Ensure readiness of Standard Room for customer audits, ISO audits, and third-party inspections.

Lead and guide a team of calibration technicians, providing training and technical support.

Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to resolve measurement-related issues and improve process capability.

Implement 5S, Kaizen, and continual improvement practices in the Standard Room.

Maintain an updated database of calibration certificates and ensure adherence to compliance timelines.

Develop and implement best practices to enhance reliability and accuracy of instruments.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of calibration methods, gauges, and precision measuring instruments.

Hands-on experience with Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, CMM, Profile Projector, and other advanced measuring instruments.

Sound understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and NABL accreditation requirements.

Ability to lead a team and handle cross-functional coordination.

Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
