. Accountabilities:
(a) Fulfilling the market requirements as committed keeping in view the quantity, quality, cost, on-time-delivery, morale of employees and safety.
(b) Effective use of all resources and reduction in cost of manufacturing.
(c) Arrange and manage human resources, developing their knowledge, skills and attitudes, competence and performance development.
. Key Activities:
(a) Monitoring the day-to-day targets of all divisions, shop floor discipline, optimum utilization of manpower.
(b) Review all resource requirements and its optimum utilization.
(c) Ensure implementation of Quality Management System, at all levels.
(d) Ensure customers' requirements are strictly fulfilled in products and services.
(e) Support Quality Assurance towards meeting customer needs and expectations.
(f) Co-ordination and alignment between manufacturing, PPC, maintenance, quality, Purchase, Stores, HR & Administration, OH&S and Process Engineering.
(g) House Keeping in the manufacturing premises.
(h) Safe practices in Shop Floor, all Machines and utilities.
(i) 5S

. Reduction of Manufacturing Cost:
(a) Exercise strict control on raw material, work in process and finished stocks.
(b) Establish FIFO, LIFO and Kanban.
(c) Control yield and reduce yield loss.
(d) Improve Overall Equipment Efficiency.
(e) Control on consumables to reduce cost of manufacturing.
(f) Optimize manpower productivity and improve output per manhour.
(g) Establish 5S and Kaizen activities.
(h) Establish Autonomous Maintenance and reduce minor stoppage, breakdown and overall maintenance cost.
(i) Reduce losses and waste in supply chain.
