Key Responsibilities:
Design and manage the compensation structure (base pay, variable pay, incentives) in line with market practices and internal benchmarks.
Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking using tools like Mercer/Hay.
Administer employee benefits programs such as insurance, medical, gratuity, and retirement plans.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.).
Coordinate with finance and payroll teams for accurate and timely processing of compensation and benefits.
Review and update compensation policies periodically in line with business and legal changes.
Lead the annual salary review, increment cycles, and incentive pay-outs.
Monitor compensation trends in the manufacturing sector and recommend adjustments.
Drive C&B analytics and MIS reporting for leadership decision-making.
Support audits, internal reviews, and compliance-related documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR / Business Administration; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
3-8 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in a manufacturing or plant-based setup.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliances.
Proficient in Excel and HRIS systems.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
Preferred:
Experience with PMS (Performance Management Systems).
Exposure to tools like Mercer/Hay job evaluation frameworks.
Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HR platforms.
