3. Document control - Supplier classification, bid list, NDA, Contracts etc

1. Ensure commercial settlements for new programs are done on time and at ZBC

2. Actively support all plants in productivity and PPM KPIs.

3. Define sourcing strategy and make alignment with all stake holders

4. Tracking of RM indexing and supplier PO amendment .

5. Ensure supplier price changes are negotiated to optimal level and are approved by price committee.

6. Strengthen ZBC and benchmarking process

7. Support customer quotes with competitive supplier pricing.

8. Support flawless launches.

9. Ensure right capacity is build at supplier end to meet SMIL business plan for next 3 years.

10. Conduct and report supplier financial risk every year.

11. Deliver purchasing financials on cost and cash

1. YOY material cost savings - min 3% over spend
2. Generate VAVE saving ideas
3. Meet Supplier consolidation targets
4. Launch new part numbers at ZBC/ benchmark prices. Inline with customer quote.
5. Supplier capacity improvement and Zero delivery issues

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

1. Product (ATS, suspension, assemblies)
2. Components - sheet metal, machining, proprietary, Insulation, Hanger, Heatshield
3. ERP and computer (MS programs)

Skills -

1. Management skills
2. Drawing and spec reading + interpretation 3. Market analysis and business acumen

Qualifications

-

B. E. (Mech/ Prod). Any other Management course will be an added advantage

Experience

-

Min8-10 years in Tier 1 Automotive company in sourcing or purchasing function.
Managing spend min Rs 100 Cr will be an added advantage.
